Start a Club
Bring fanciers together. Build your local racing community.
Interested in starting a racing pigeon club in your area? The AU can help you get started. Forming an AU-chartered club connects local fanciers, creates opportunities for organized competition, and gives your members access to the resources and support of a national organization. Gather your fellow fanciers, establish your club, complete the charter process, and become part of the AU community.

Getting Started
-
Gather Your Members. An AU club requires a minimum of five individuals, including at least three with separate physical loft addresses.
-
Choose Your Club Leadership. Identify your club officers and the person who will receive official AU correspondence.
-
Create Your Constitution & By-Laws. The AU provides a sample that clubs can use as a starting point.
-
Apply for Your AU Charter. Complete the New Club Charter Application, submit your club information and bylaws, and pay the charter application fee.
-
Welcome to the AU! Once chartered, your club becomes part of the larger AU community and can participate in AU racing, awards programs, and other activities.
